'You deserve little more', is indeed a mantra which has the power of producing tremendous motivation. It generates great bindings of love, respect and faith. Highest level of honesty, analytic power, confidence and right emotions are needed in effectively using this mantra for energizing others. Also, the individuals at receiving end need courage to act and get benefited. If you never experienced it, then it is surely a call for introspection. However, in the current era, selfish persons may misuse this mantra for personal gains, some people may adopt the greedy approach and other such aspects require the wisdom for identifying the right call. In any case, the number of people possessing the opinion, 'he deserves little more' about a person surely reflects his current performance and capabilities.
I am still trying to learn the skills of using this mantra on others, but on the receiving side and at different stages of life, I have experienced it several times. Tough livelihood during upbringing, the struggling college days, challenging initial years of employment and beyond, whenever I gave up, a different set of people told me, 'you deserve little more'. Each time it triggered a new cycle of raising the bar little higher, preparing hard and keeping perseverance till success. I now understand that the life is just a collection of such cycles. The ability of quickly completing the current cycle and enhancing the number of quality well-wishers enable a person to undertake proportionally more number of such cycles in his life span. The carrier graphs of the individuals surely reflect this proportion. Some extraordinary persons are capable of simultaneously handling several such cycles and/or adding extra attributes in each of these cycles. I wonder, if a mechanism can be developed for rating the life of a person by appropriately weighing all such cycles undertaken by him in his lifetime.
All parents, siblings, true friends, relatives, teachers and colleagues should develop the skill of stating, 'You deserve little more' in most unbiased way. Though, it consumes a lot of energy and time, but this is the best gift what everyone can give to his beloved.
#respect_for_you sir !!

ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you with some reservations. You yourself added the word "unbiased" in your blog lines ". Since this word is added along with that golden quote, giving the picture that the quote by you is appearing little imperfect and giving the reflection of distrust. My ears are burning on using this word with the proposed extract. It is very difficult to absorb the un-biasness by humans (Body and Mind). Then, you can imagine, how difficult is, to say this? This word must be treated well. It would be better to have the same or modified quote without this unsafe word. Let us think, how this word can be replaced? The big question, to be answered? Humans, if want to use these types of quotes, then, there frame of reference should be little higher than the person, who is at the receiving end. To use this quote in same frame of reference seems impossible. This causes the the restrictions on using this quote and can not be used by any tom dick and harry. First of all, it is very difficult to use these words by a general one, it is very difficult to avoid the bias even if, it is used by such once, without coming out and at least one level higher from the frame of reference, about which the person is talking about. This higher frame of reference is really higher or higher and higher. This new frame of reference is too difficult to achieve in this physical world. So, what is this "frame of reference" need to be investigated first, and then the persons, who have at least left the same frame of reference may be allowed to use this golden quote. Then How to come out of any frame of reference? Again a question to be answered. With the above line, I again congratulating you for at least initiating the discussion on this issue.
